If you are looking for the perfect date night meal, I must say this one is a must-try. I am a big fan of pork chops, and whenever I get the opportunity to order them at a restaurant or make them at home, I will.
Pork chops are one of those meals that you can make pretty much anywhere, and they will always taste so good.
I always hear that pork chops are too dry, and they can be if you cook them for too long. A little trick I always do is let them simmer in some chicken stock, or you can always cook them in the oven to finish off.
I have to say the best way to cook pork chops is always with a glaze. I have also tried an orange glaze, and that was also so delicious.
Okay, let’s talk about these mashed potatoes. When eating pork chops, mashed potatoes are a must. I love mine velvety smooth, and the best way to get them like this is to whip them with your mixer and add the buttermilk a little at a time. You don’t want to add too much or too little.
Substitutions:
If you do not have buttermilk, you can simply add milk and melted butter.
