I love to make extra to have on hand for a busy day. I toss them in a toaster oven, and they are just as good. The recipe only makes one serving, but you can easily double to triple the ingredients to fit a big family.
French Toast
These light and delicious french toast will not disappoint even the picky eaters. Perfect for any day of the week and can also be made ahead of time for breakfast.
- Mixing bowl
- Skillet
- 3 Slice of light & thin wheat bread
- 1 Egg
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp Almond milk
- Walden Farm syrup
- 1/2 tbsp I can’t believe its not butter
- Berries (optional)
- 1 tbsp powder sugar
Direction:
In a small mixing bowl beat your egg, then add the vanilla, cinnamon, and milk. Mix well! Preheat a medium skillet and add butter. Dip the bread one by one in the mixture and add to the pan. Cook on each side until golden brown. Serve immediately, dust with just a little powder sugar using a sifter top with some berries and syrup.
